Once the metal is solid, it is removed from the mold.

Next, the coating process protects the metal against potential corrosion.
The statuette is coated with a series of alloys through electroplatingzinc, copper, nickel, and pure silver.
Finally, the statuette is dipped in 24-karat gold.

An imposter once fooled security
A peculiar thing happened during the 37th Emmy Awards.
