At a glance, they might seem like an unlikely pair.
Amal was a British lawyer who lived in London, while George was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Nevertheless, the pair quickly hit it off and began a long-distance relationship.
By the sounds of things, their relationship is getting stronger than ever.

In fact, in 2013, the actor even told GQ he had no interest in settling down.
“I haven’t had aspirations in that way, ever.

“I planned it out, I’m not stupid, planned the whole thing out.”
George’s plan was to make Amal dinner and then pop the question during a particularly romantic song.
