For Timberlake, it was love at first sight even as kids.
“I was infatuated with her from the moment I saw her.”
As they got older and followed similar career trajectories, the pop stars clearly had a lot in common.
“We know each other inside and out.”
But a year later, the couple had called it quits.
“I can’t just have meaningless relationships with women.
I have to find miss right for have a relationship,” he explained.
“There’s got to be that big moment when she comes along.”
Spears also included her perspective on their breakup.
In the book, Spears said Timberlake cheated on her more than once during their relationship.
She also confessed to cheating on Timberlake with Wade Robson saying, “We danced and danced.
I made out with [Robson] that night.”
The singer said she was “devastated” about it and could not even speak.
However, Timberlake didn’t completely cut ties after sending Spears the breakup text.
Spears added, “I still have it under my bed.”
She admitted that, despite Timberlake visiting her, she still did not talk.
