Born on October 15, 1959, Sarah is the daughter of Major Ronald Ferguson and Susan Barrantes.
She arrived two years after her sister Jane Ferguson.
In 1974, Sarah and Jane’s parents divorced.
Their mother, Susan, went on to marry polo player Hector Barrantes in 1975.
The following year, Ronald tied the knot with Susan Deptford.
