Kathie Lee thought about leaving Frank, but the couple eventually pulled through with the help of therapy.

Gifford’s father died in November 2002 of Lewy Body Dementia at the age of 78.
Gifford had a close relationship with her dad and was naturally devastated by his death.
“He had more integrity in his baby finger than most people have in a lifetime.”

Still, she was grateful for the time they did have together.
Years after Frank’s death, Kathie Lee continued to mourn.

She posted a Bible verse onTwitterafter the news broke that he had died at the age of 88.

Philbin was a key part of Gifford’s support system after the scandal surrounding her husband’s affair broke.
