Born in Susak, Croatia, in 1948, Picinich moved to the United States in 1963.

A year later, he started working with Buddy Valastro Sr. Picinich left the show after being diagnosed with cancer in 2009.

He was also described as a “loving father” and “cherished grandfather.”

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lucille, two children, and two grandchildren.

Star Angela Deem got married to her long-distance boyfriend Michael Ilesanmi in Nigeria.
