In fact, it’s been her go-to for years.

“We have a chicken coop.
We inherited it with the property when we bought it,” she explained.
All total, the celeb has about 15 chickens.
“To go in and pick the eggs is super fun,” Aniston added.
Her secret game-changing foods are ridiculously simple
Staying healthy is no doubt important to Aniston.
Just fruits and vegetables and healthy lean proteins and water.”
Aniston also listed off her very favorite healthy snack: frozen grapes.
“I like the red ones they’re really easy and delicious.
They give you that frozen crunch,” she explained.
The first time she tried them was at a spa and thought they were absolutely “genius.”
Food, “tinker in the kitchen.”
“We make a pasta carbonara that’s so easy,” she explained.
Using the eggs from her backyard chickens, she whips up a “skinny style” dish.
“We use turkey bacon instead of real bacon, eggs, and parmesan.
No oil, butter or creams,” said Aniston.
“We use pasta water to make it juicier,” Aniston divulged.
She admitted in an interview withBon Appetitthat her friend brought over “some beautiful fresh bacon.”
What’s a girl to do?
“We went full boat on our usual lean mean carbonara.
It was pretty divine,” she explained.
Well, that is, she’s not a fananymore.
Food, Aniston admitted to trying some trendy cleanses, like the Grapefruit Diet, in the past.
Aniston also tried Nutri-System some two decades ago and said it was actually successful.
“It just happens to be astronaut food, but it still worked,” she admitted honestly.
Yes, she really does drink Smartwater
You’ve seen the ads.
Jennifer Aniston has almost become synonymous with the Smartwater brand, for which she is an ambassador.
When speaking withShape,Aniston admitted that shereallydoes drink the water she promotes.
“I drink 100 ounces of Smartwater every day,” Aniston said.
Aniston’s water consumption begins first thing in the AM.
As far as flavors go, Aniston named her fairly simple favorites: vanilla, chocolate, and coffee.
She enjoys her occasional sweet treat with granola “if there is any to be had.”
There is one snack Aniston is powerless to resist, though.
Homemade, really good, fluffy-crispy tortilla chips,” the actress told the publication.
Of course, you might’t just eat them plain.
Detailing her favorite dips, she said she loves guacamole, or “guac” as she calls it.
“If we’re trying to be good, what’s the point of having chips at all?
But I love salsa on everything,” said Aniston.
It’s not just chips and salsa she loves.
“I love Mexican food in general,” the actress admitted.
